It also addresses the need, when there is illegible handwriting, for the pharmacist to have to make a call back to the physician, the staff having to retrieve the chart, the staff having to interpret what the prescription is for, and then when all else fails, interrupt the doctor for further clarification of the prescription!

The sole goal of eScriptWriter is to allow the physician to select from a preloaded file of more than 2,700 medications with various dosages and to produce a script with the patient’s name, address and age clearly displayed on the prescription along with the medication that is being ordered – all legible!! The doctor only needs to sign the prescription and the patient then presents it to the pharmacist.
